Where is your bakery?

Alchemy Bread is a cottage bakery in downtown Modesto,  Loaves are made with love in a home kitchen, weekly baking schedule varies. Bread pickup details are sent via email after a subscription order is placed, or you can email to place a large order. Alchemy Bread is a permitted Cottage Food Operation or "CFO" with a  food handlers license, business license & all recipes are approved by our county. Please remember to be respectful of our residence when visiting during our open hours, and to model kindness and community spirit to my neighborhood, friends and other customers.

How can I buy your bread?

With a Subscription. Subscribers can sign up and pre-pay for a months worth of bread (one large weekly loaf) here on my site. Read more here. These sell out quickly each month, you can find out when then are available by subscribing to the email newsletter or following on instagram (links at bottom of this page).

Can you make a special loaf just for me?

With enough lead time I will try to make this happen for you. Please email me at alchemybreadco@gmail.com but please note! I do get a lot of emails and I usually sit down and reply to them all once a week, so please don't be alarmed if your email isn't answered immediately.

Alchemy Bread cares deeply about the Earth and great care is taken to put resources back into our local community by supporting small locally owned businesses and craftspersons first and always. Donations to environmental and social justice organizations, support for worthy causes, and modeling respect and compassion are simply part of the usual work week.
