Breezing into Summer

We’re having a brief interlude of breezy weather, and I am so happy to be soaking it up. We ate apricots in the sun, we made a bunch of ceviche and ate it by the flowering artichoke plants and buzzy bees, we went kayaking at the lake for hours and listened to the beautiful tunes of the redwing blackbirds flitting around in the marshy reeds.

I’ve got my ovens turned off for today, and I’m going to go lay in my hammock and listen to the gentle susurrations of the sycamore leaves and watch the fluffy clouds amble across the sky while I still can. Buy your bread! Then get away from a screen and outside as quick as you can!
