Fall Equinox Rituals

Happy Fall Equinox my friends! It’s your baker’s most favorite time of the year! I got to have a nice long phone chat with my childhood best friend today while shuffling around my floury wood floors in my Birkenstocks. We talked about getting into the “crone zone” for a witchy fall mood and what seasonal rituals we must partake in. She needs to go to her local chocolate shop for a cocoa, and I need to make a spiced syrup for next to my espresso machine. She needs to watch Fantastic Mr. Fox (Me too!) and I need to watch You’ve Got Mail (her too!). I made spicy Japanese curry last night, she’s meditating on eastern european stews. I got an embroidery kit with an image of a cat sitting next to a stack of books, she made a spooky glowing eyeball wreath. We’re sorting out our “to be read” lists towards a cozy vibe.
